Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Basaran Inc, a Florida corporation trading as Basaran AI, does with personal information. It covers two separate things: people who visit this website or become clients, and the software itself.

Information we collect

We collect only what we need to sell, deliver and support the software:

• Enquiry details. If you email or call us, we hold your name, business name, email address, telephone number and whatever you tell us about your requirements.
• Client and billing details. For a client we hold the company name, billing address, account contact, the machines a licence is issued for, and a record of invoices and payments.
• Support correspondence. Anything a client sends us for support, and our replies.

We do not sell personal information, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not build marketing profiles.

Payments

Card and bank payments are processed by Stripe, our payment processor. Payment details are submitted directly to Stripe and are handled under Stripe's privacy policy. Basaran Inc does not receive or store full card numbers or bank credentials. We see only what we need to reconcile an invoice: the amount, the date, the payment method type and the last four digits.

Your business content and the software

The application runs locally. Files remain on the client's computers unless the client configures a task or integration that sends selected information to an external service. Messaging platforms, MCP integrations and other connected services are controlled by the client's own configuration and accounts.

AI providers

The client chooses and configures the AI provider used by Basaran AI. If a client uses an external provider such as OpenAI or Anthropic, selected content needed for a task is sent directly to that provider under the client's own account and that provider's terms — it does not pass through us. A client can instead configure a supported local model through Ollama so that model processing stays on its own machine.

Licensing

To keep a subscription active, the application periodically requests a renewed licence from our licensing service. That request identifies the licence and the machine it is installed on. It does not include the client's files, prompts, conversations or business content.

This website

This site sets no cookies. It runs no analytics, no advertising trackers and no marketing scripts. Two third parties serve assets to your browser, and each therefore receives your IP address and browser details in the ordinary course of delivering a file:

• Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com) serves the typeface.
• Spline (prod.spline.design) and esm.sh serve the 3D scene on the home page.

Neither is used to identify or track you, and the 3D scene is not loaded at all on phones or where your browser asks for reduced motion. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, keeps standard server logs for security and reliability.

How long we keep information

Enquiries that do not become clients are kept for up to two years. Client and billing records are kept for seven years after the engagement ends, as required for tax and accounting. Support correspondence is kept for the duration of the engagement and two years after.

Your rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Write to support@basaran.ai and we will respond within thirty days. Residents of jurisdictions with specific data protection rights, including California and the EEA, may exercise those rights through the same address.

Children

Basaran AI is sold to businesses. This website and the software are not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update this page and change the date at the top, and we will notify active clients by email.
